PerForge v2.0 is finally here! 🎉 This release is the biggest overhaul in the project’s history, delivering ML & AI features, support for Sitespeed.io, and countless quality-of-life improvements.

Key Highlights

1. AI & ML

  • New ML detector suite (Isolation Forest, Z-score, Linear Regression) that:
    • Detects test type (ramp-up vs fixed-load).
    • Spots anomalies, trends and stability issues.
    • Suggests saturation point or capacity numbers when limits are hit.
    • Added a report HTML page to visualize test data and review ML findings.

2. Reporting Templates Made Easy

  • Drop variables ${ai_summary}, ${ml_summary}, ${nfr_summary} anywhere in Markdown / HTML / text templates, and it will be injected for you.

3. Sitespeed Front-end Insights

  • Support of Sitespeed.io results, including Web Vitals, CPU, memory and content-type metrics.

4. Tables Wherever You Need Them

  • Insert detailed per-request tables into any report section using simple placeholders.
  • Works in PDF, Confluence, Azure Wiki, Jira and e-mail integrations.

5. UX Tweaks

  • Copy elements (templates, NFRs, graphs, integrations) across projects with one click.
  • Delete confirmations on all destructive actions to avoid mistakes.
  • Brand-new success / error toasts so you always know what happened without digging into logs.
  • Prefer daylight? Toggle the brand-new light mode in the settings.
  • Updated the template configuration page to improve stability.
  • And many other UI changes which are not listed here.

🚀 Upgrade Notes

  1. API change-over: Update any custom scripts to hit the new /api/v1/ routes.
  2. Configuration: It’s not possible to transfer configurations from PerForge v1 to v2. You’ll need to reconfigure your projects manually. Starting with v2, we’ve adopted a new configuration format.

Oh, and yes, we’ve updated our logo too 😏

On a serious note, PerForge v2 brings you deeper insights and better user experience. We’re excited to see what you’ll create with it - happy perforging! 🔥

Greetings! 👋

We are thrilled to announce a suite of new features designed to enhance your experience with PerForge. Let's dive into each of these exciting updates:

Prompt Management 📋

Managing prompts has never been easier! With our new "Prompts" tab, you can now centralize all your prompts in one convenient location. When creating a prompt, you'll specify its purpose—whether it's for graphs, templates, or other uses. This streamlined approach allows you to effortlessly select the appropriate prompt for your needs. Plus, we've included a list of default prompts that you can reuse, saving you time and effort ⏳.

Template Configuration 🛠️

We've added more flexibility to template configuration. You can now explicitly choose prompts for aggregated data analysis, templates, and system messages. This enhancement ensures that your templates are more customizable and better suited to your specific requirements.

Regex in NFRs 🔍

Regular expressions (regex) are now supported in Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs). To use this feature, simply check the regex checkbox for the NFR row and enter your regular expression in the scope. This powerful addition allows for more precise and flexible NFR definitions.

We hope these new features make your experience with PerForge even better. As always, we value your feedback and look forward to hearing how these updates are helping you achieve your goals.

Happy perforging! ⚒️
